Built in an old farmhouse, this large and very independent gite is located on a 6 000 m² lawn. It invites you to a zen stay in the middle of nature and proposes, on the spot, a swimming pool under cover, heated (open from April to November, treated with salt). Bicycles are at your disposal to go by small roads to visit the ornithological reserve of Murat and the Natural Park of the Brenne and its myriad of ponds.

We renovated the gîte at the end of 2022 with all the necessary comforts, retaining some of the original features but adapting some modern ones: air conditioning, mosquito nets on the windows, modern electric fire for the autumn/winter months. We have an ecological wood-fired jacuzzi which is included for stays of 7 nights or more, and extra for short stays, reserved exclusively for our guests. You can relax with a complimentary bottle of bubbly while gazing at the stars. For your entertainment: large garden with deckchairs, table tennis, badminton, darts and archery. If you'd like to leave your car at home, there's a secure garage for your bikes or car.

Le Puy Saint Jean is the hamlet that Patrice and Catherine chose some thirty years ago to return to farming after selling the family farm in Creuse. Here, they built a new life for themselves and their family. Now retired, they welcome their grandchildren for vacations and have chosen to bring their grandparents' house back to life. On site, they have installed a very large above-ground swimming pool (10m x 5m, salt water, water renewed every summer) which they share with the gîte guests. Set in a lovely shady garden, the pool offers a breathtaking view over the countryside. Fishing is possible in their private pond 500 m from the gîte.

In the heart of the small village of Saint Léger Magnazeix, Martine has converted this pretty little village house, which opens onto a terrace and pleasant enclosed garden at the rear. Adjoining her own house, it took 5 years of renovation, painting and decorating for her to transform it into a comfortable vacation home. Very involved in local activities and culture, she will be delighted to show you around the area where she has come to spend a peaceful retirement.

Completely independent and not overlooked, the house opens onto a covered terrace extending onto a vast meadow with a pretty grove (small playhouse). Beyond this is a 1-hectare pond where you can practice your fishing skills and then release the fish. 3 km away, Lac de Mondon fishing pond and aqualudic area with heated outdoor pool, and 1 km away, Bouerry forest, classified as a natural area of ecological interest.

In a hamlet located in the countryside, semi-detached house opening onto a large independent lawn. 30 mn from Crozant and the famous valley of the painters, the Haut Limousin is also rich in small towns of character where it is good to stroll. The church dominates the valley of the Benaize. Partly Romanesque, it has been modified over time, particularly in the Gothic period. At the end of the Middle Ages, it was decorated with wall paintings. Recently discovered, they represent Saint Christopher carrying Christ on his shoulders, consecration crosses and a funerary liter. The church preserves a beautiful 17th century statue, in polychrome wood, representing Saint Roch, traditionally venerated against plague and other infectious diseases. Registered as a Historic Monument in 1993.

The parish church is the former church of the priory-cure depending on the abbey of Saint Augustin de Limoges. The other buildings were sold as national property during the Revolution. The modest and sober building is composed of a single nave and a flat chevet with triplet. The nave, originally framed, received a vault on ribbed crosses in the Gothic period. The bell tower covered with slate is also later. While the wall is made of a rather coarse stone, the 15th century north portal is made of a fine-grained limestone that is easy to carve. The moldings on the jambs and the lintel brace are the work of an artist from the Gothic period Registered as a Historic Monument in 1937 (north portal). The key to the church is available at the town hall in the morning and at the media library in the afternoon.
