Take this hilly route and enjoy the many viewpoints of this cultural landscape, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999.

This easy, breathtaking loop takes you through some of the Juridiction's finest estates. After the iconic Cité, the small roads take you to Château Haut-Sarpe, one of the oldest wine estates, and Château Faugère, where you can appreciate the modernist winery, built into the hillside by architect Mario Botta. There are plenty of opportunities to stop and appreciate the landscape of hillsides and vineyards that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Discover the vineyards and heritage of Saint-Emilion. On this 19 km, gently undulating route, you'll admire a host of châteaux and churches with remarkable architecture, and enjoy beautiful views over the Juridiction of Saint-Emilion.

If you'd like to cycle from Saint-Emilion to Bordeaux, or vice versa, you can do so on the former railway line, which has been converted into a cycle path and named the Roger Lapébie Trail after the winner of the Tour de France in 1937. The 49km route has one main difficulty, a 4km climb between Branne and Guillac. (n°11-12).

This 11.5-kilometre loop is accessible to all, and is particularly suited to walkers who want to meet passionate winegrowers. From the limestone plateau to the Barbanne valley, you'll follow byroads through the vineyards, sheltered from road traffic.

This 15km loop, with its fairly flat profile, is ideal for wine enthusiasts who want to catch a glimpse of some of Saint-Emilion's prestigious wine estates. The route winds its way through the vineyards of these renowned châteaux located on the famous limestone plateau around the village.

Guided tours to discover the vineyards and the village of Saint-Émilion Have fun driving clean and silent electric buggies through the vineyards and alleys to discover Saint-Emilion as you have never seen it before. Starting at Château Coutet, your guide will show you the points of interest identified especially for you along your route. Audio and video commentaries (in French, English, Spanish, Italian and German) will complement these stops thanks to the tablet that is provided free of charge at the beginning of the tour. Your guide will show you the ramparts of the medieval city but will also introduce you to the specificities of the vineyard: grape varieties, pruning techniques (with demonstration) etc... On your return to the Château, a commented tasting of the estate's wines will conclude the visit.

Listed as a historic monument since 1920. This small Romanesque Latin cross church was built at the end of the 11th and beginning of the 12th centuries, and only became part of the parish of Saint-Emilion after the French Revolution in 1790. In the 16th century, the top floor of the church tower was demolished by the jurats of Saint Emilion to prevent the Protestants from using it as a fortress at the entrance to the predominantly Catholic town, and restored in 1975.
