This very difficult loop (black), in the heart of the Vézère valley in Périgord Noir, proposes to discover mainly the village of Rouffignac-St Cernin close to the hundred mammoths cave, then Tursac with the sites of the Madeleine and the Maison Forte of Reignac, the village of Peyzac Le Moustier with the troglodytic site of the Roque St Christophe and finally the village of Plazac with its beautiful point of view. The departure is from the sports complex (ESES). At the starting point, there is a bicycle rental and repair service, a bicycle washing station, toilets, restaurants and overnight accommodation.

This loop, of a very easy level (green) proposes a tour of Rouffignac St-Cernin, village of the valley of Vézère in the heart of Black Périgord in Dordogne. In the heart of a 50ha estate of meadows and forest where the stone-built farmhouse has not been modified for more than a century. We have chosen an outbuilding which was originally used as a shepherd’s hut and later as a plum drying shed. The restoration of this building has just been completed. The village of Rouffignac-Saint-Cernin is a commune in the Barade forest located on the highest hills of the Périgord Noir in the Dordogne, surrounded by a diverse landscape offering wonderful scenery.
