On this pretty loop, accessible to everyone, you can discover Limeyrat and its Romanesque church Saint-Hilaire of the XIIth (MH), a little further on the path the Dolmen of Peyrelevade (MH) of the Vth millennium. in this magical place you can picnic in peace and quiet.

Situated on the Causse de Thenon, the village of Ajat is built on a hillside. A church and an imposing medieval castle seem to watch over the houses of the village. The Romanesque church of Ajat is in the center of the village. It has a single nave, topped by a 4-bay bell tower, and has undergone numerous modifications over the centuries which have not altered its general appearance.

Many of you will wonder about the name of our estate. Lithos means ?stone? in Greek, and the Dordogne is a land of magnificent stones. It's also a nod to my father-in-law, who died too soon and whose first name was Pierre, and who would have loved to have known this place.

This completely renovated, comfortable and authentic stone farmhouse, dating from 1846, lies at the heart of a 50 ha estate of fields and forests. The peaceful location is perfect for relaxation or to discover the flora and fauna of the surrounding environment. A farming family, we would be delighted to show you around our farm, rearing limousin cattle, should you wish. A vast choice of walks is available in the Périgord. The proximity of the Château de l'Herm offers you a woodland walk in the footsteps of the historic Jacquou le Croquant, or you might prefer to visit the 'Cave of 100 mammoths' for a taste of prehistory. The Périgord Noir is rich in prehistory, history and landscapes; Montignac (Lascaux) and Les Eyzies are 20 minutes away and Sarlat at 35 minutes are just some of the many places to visit.

A few kilometres from the most famous prehistoric sites in the Vallée de l'Homme, the naturist campsite Le Coteau de l'Herm is located in Rouffignac-Saint-Cernin-de-Reilhac, at equal distance from Les Eyzies-de-Tayac and Montignac. In the heart of a 50ha estate of meadows and forest where the stone-built farmhouse has not been modified for more than a century. We have chosen an outbuilding which was originally used as a shepherd’s hut and later as a plum drying shed. The restoration of this building has just been completed. We propose a studio of 24m² with a half separation between the kitchen area and the sleeping area, a bathroom with Italian shower and toilet. Optional fees: cleaning (20€), sheet rental (9€/bed), bathroom linen rental (4€/pers), kitchen linen rental (3€).

Our farm specialises in goose foie gras and is resolutely focused on traditional production methods. Our geese are reared from birth. Free-range, on grassy pastures, they are fed only non-GMO cereals from our own production before being force-fed exclusively with whole maize. Processing takes place in our laboratory, using local, family recipes. We have chosen direct sales as our only means of marketing, in order to keep in touch with our customers. The church was built in the 12th century. Church Saint Eulalie in Ste Eulalie d'ans Name Concerning a Christian martyr who died at the beginning of the 4th century. The plan is simple, elongated. The facade consists of a bell wall pierced with four bell bays and a portal with multiple arches without tympanum.
