Sale of farmhouse tomme cheese made from raw milk. The cheese made from their milk is an artisanal product, created entirely on the farm: it's called "Le Clugnat".

Initiated by archeology enthusiasts creating this small museum was made possible thanks to the requests made by the Municipality of Clugnat in the former rectory. More than 300 flint tools are exposed. One can discover objects testifying to a local settlement dating back to the Middle Paleolithic (300,000 years before J.C.). Carp anglers and lovers of "belles pièces" are most welcome at the Clugnat communal pond. Set up your fishing chairs, cast your lines and wait for the bell to jingle and the line to stretch. Open from mid-March to the end of October.

The abbey of Prébenoît is a Cistercian abbey, active from the twelfth century to the French Revolution, and largely destroyed in the nineteenth century. It is in 1140 that the abbey of Dalon creates in the parish of Bétête, an abbey thanks to a donation carried out by the lord of Malval. This abbey receives the name of Prébenoît ("pre blessed"). The first abbot, presumably the founder, was called Pierre. The community of monks who settle there comes either from the abbey-mother, Dalon, or the abbey of Chatreix to Saint-Julien-le-Petit. At the time of the French Revolution, the abbey, the buildings and the grounds of the abbey are declared national goods, then sold to a middle-class man, Henri Carbonnières, who however can not pay the purchase price completely. The buildings of the abbey are therefore attributed to the Legion of Honor, then transferred to the Sinking Fund in 1806, a

Our 3 star hotel is an old coaching inn, located in the heart of Boussac. It is a perfect combination of historical charm and modern comfort. Ideal for business trips and family holidays. We have 9 rooms, each with its own bathroom, bathtub, shower, TV. Babies' cots available (please book). Our traditional French restaurant has a shady terrace and a seminar room. Our chef's fine cuisine is seasonal.

The new Chef, Anita Moir, Kiwi* born, now splits her time between catering in London and France London and France is very comfortable, she assures us, with creating vegan dishes, but is equally is just as happy preparing a casserole with meat, or a cake with eggs. "As long as I know my ingredients are from good sources, I'm happy to create a meal with most of them." Anita describes her cooking as "'homely deli' style as if made at home".

The owners work with local producers to get the best products while enhancing the region! Booking is recommended. In summer: concert every 1st Saturday of the month and Menu seafood on the last Saturday of the month. On site: Tree Adventure Trail, mini-golf, Laser Game, and children's games.

For peace seekers and nature lovers, we rent our gite, “La Piqûre”, in the northern part of Creuse about 300 km south of Paris, with a fabulous view over the hills and clean air. It is located in a small 'hamlet' and is located on a quiet dirt road. A small river flows at the foot of the hill. The cottage has all the comforts and is also a good base for hiking, cycling or motorcycling.
