La Vél’Art est un concept porté par l’artiste Benoît Saison liant la valorisation des paysages, l’histoire d’un territoire et la pratique artistique participative avec une sensibilisation à la préservation de l’environnement. L’équipe de la Communauté de Communes Pays d’Opale avec Benoît Saison vous proposent un parcours vélo de 15 km associant l’art, l’environnement et les paysages. Vous serez invités à regarder autrement les coteaux : tout au long du parcours, des QR Codes vous permettent d’accéder aux œuvres réalisées par les élèves du territoire (des écoles d’Hardinghen et de Caffiers).

Au départ de Licques, partez pour une balade de 38km et roulez à travers champs et forêts, en plein cœur du Parc naturel régional des Caps et Marais d'Opale.

Au départ de Guînes, boulevard Blanchard, ce parcours vous amène jusqu’à la Colonne dans la forêt de Guînes avant de continuer dans les terres pour profiter de points de vue à Alembon ou encore au Mont de Fiennes.

Au départ d'Ardres, cette boucle de 33 km vous donne à voir de nombreux paysages ! Après un petit passage à travers les lacs d'Ardres, vous rejoignez la ville et partez pour la deuxième partie de cette boucle qui vous guide à travers champs et endroits boisés.Pour votre pause pique-nique, arrêtez-vous au promontoire de Belle-vue à Landrethun-lès-Ardres, où vous pourrez profiter d'une jolie vue. Continuez ensuite votre chemin où vous apercevrez la Chapelle Saint-Louis. Située sur le mont Saint-Louis, la chapelle culmine à 112m d'altitude, offrant ainsi un beau panorama sur les paysages alentours.

Set off from Audembert town hall for a family walk through the countryside. Several small benches around the Herlen farm will punctuate your walk. To make the most of the Deux-Caps Grand Site, bring a good pair of shoes, weather-appropriate clothing and a water bottle.

C'est par la Véloroute des marais de débute l'Eurovélo 5, en France. Aménagée en voie verte, la Véloroute est idéale pour une sortie en famille. De Coulogne à Guînes, vous longerez en partie le canal de Guînes et une ancienne voie ferrée. Si vous avez besoin de faire une petite pause, profitez des tables de pique-nique le long de la voie verte. Continuez ensuite votre chemin jusqu'à Ardres où nous vous conseillons de vous rendre aux lacs pour déguster une bonne glace ou faire un tour de pédalo. Et si vous souhaitez aller plus loin, suivez les panneaux de l'EV5 jusqu'à Audruicq pour 10 km de plus ! Attention, si vous partez de Coulogne, ne prenez pas trop de vitesse dans la descente, elle précède un virage en épingle. La véloroute est sur voie verte (c'est-à-dire sans véhicule motorisé) de Coulogne à Guînes. Au-delà, la route peut-être sur voie partagée. None Altitude : 3 m Altitude : 12 m

Comme son nom l'indique, La Vélomaritime® est un itinéraire résolument tourné vers la mer. Elle valorise les sites naturels du littoral, mais aussi le patrimoine historique et culturel, la multitude d'activités de plein air, la richesse de la gastronomie entre terre et mer, les ports et les stations balnéaires. Entre Boulogne-sur-Mer et Calais, La Vélomaritime vous offre des points de vue sur les côtes anglaises. L’itinéraire traverse des villages de pêcheurs pittoresques et le Grand Site de France des Deux-Caps. Ce tronçon promet de belles descentes, mais qui dit descentes dit montées alors ménagez vos efforts ! Vous en serez récompensés par des vues époustouflantes ! Vous entrez dans une commune. Vous partagez la route avec des véhicules sur des voies à faible trafic. la majorité des rues sur lesquelles vous passez sont limitées à 30 km/h, à l'exception de la rue de Lille et rue Nationale sur lesquelles vous roulez 500 mètres et qui sont limitées à 50 km/h. Vous retrouvez la voie verte que vous partagez qu'avec des piétons et autres cyclistes et mobilités douces. Attention, vous devez traverser une route limitée à 50 km/h. A Audresselles, vous roulez sur des voies à faible trafic. Vous roulez sur une voie verte. Vous n'y croiserez plus de véhicules motorisés à l'exception d'éventuels engins agricoles (rares). Attention, vous traversez une route départementale. En continuant tout droit, vous pouvez rejoindre le Cap Gris-Nez. Vous serez sur voie verte pendant 1,5km avant d'arriver sur des voies partagées. Attention, la montée pour rejoindre le cap Gris-Nez peut être assez rude et vous partagez la route avec des véhicules qui manquent de visibilité dans les tournants. Ici, nous vous conseillons de tourner à gauche puis encore à gauche pour rejoindre l'église de Tardinghen. Un espace a été aménagé avec quelques jeux, des bancs et un magnifique point de vue sur le site des Deux-Caps. Vous roulez sur un chaucidou sur 350m avant de reprendre une voie verte. Attention, vous roulez sur une route départementale jusqu'à Wissant. Attention, vous roulez ici sur une route départementale pendant 1km avant de rejoindre une piste cyclable. Vous quittez la route départementale pour rouler sur une piste cyclable sécurisée. Pour rejoindre le Cap Blanc-Nez, nous vous conseillons de tourner à gauche jusqu'à arriver à Escalles, place de la Mairie. Prenez ensuite à gauche, rue de la Mer, pour arriver jusqu'au parking. Nous vous déconseillons de continuer tout droit vers le Cap avec votre vélo car il y a peu de visibilité et la montée est assez rude. Vous pouvez mettre votre vélo sur le parking à la fin de la rue de la mer et monter sur le Cap à pied ou descendre vers le cran d'Escalles, la plage. Vous roulez sur une route départementale sur 110 mètres. Attention vous traversez une route départementale. Vous roulez sur une voie partagée sur 800m avant de rejoindre une piste cyclable. Vous roulez sur une voie partagée sur 5 km.

A short family walk with the option of extending the route by 500m to go to the heights of Cap Blanc-Nez around the Dover Patrol and/or to descend to the Cran d'Escalles beach at the foot of Cap Blanc-Nez. SAINT-QUENTIN CHURCH Monument of Popular Art from the XVth century, built by the Priest Lecoutre. He spent 43 years his life decorating the Church, telling of his pilgrimages from Italy and the Holy Land. He decided to decorate the church with both marble and stone from Boulogne, in an oriental style.

SAINT-SAUVEUR CHURCH – DESVRES Church not very old, destroyed by the Spanish in 1597. Totally restored from 1875 to 1896. During the restoration, pottery inlays and tiles were set up into the capitals and the current arches as well as paintings, stations of the Cross, altar…

Saint-Martin’s Church Church built during the Middle-Ages, it belongs to the gothic flamboyant style. Original and picturesque because of the constructions built on the church walls. You can find only two churches like that in Europe, the other one is located in the former Czechoslovakia.
