This circuit is part of the FFVélo Haute-Corrèze mountain bike base, the largest mountain bike area in France with its 1000 km of marked circuits. From the same starting point, the more athletic will be able to follow the longer circuits (circuits 2, 3 and 4). Ideal for a family with children starting to ride. Routes over several days are possible with accommodation solutions nearby (campsites, gîtes, bed and breakfast, holiday village...). Mountain bike rental point: all year round at the Château de la Diège, in summer at Sèchemailles.

Place Voltaire in Ussel is home to this Roman eagle, sculpted from granite. It was discovered near the Peuch mill, south-east of Ussel. Dating from the Roman period, it may have crowned a burial monument that no longer exists. Headless when first discovered, it was added in 1804 by sculptor Pic when it was erected in honor of Napoleon Bonaparte's coronation. The eagle is a feminine noun when it becomes a symbol of the Roman or Napoleonic empire.

Opened in 1976, this "Museum of France" is devoted to the history, arts and traditions of the Ussel region, between the Millevaches plateau, the Triouzoune valley and the upper Dordogne valley. 

Place Voltaire in Ussel is the home of this Roman eagle, carved in granite. It was discovered near the Peuch mill southeast of Ussel.
