With its houses featuring red shutters, discoid steles in its cemetery, and place names resonating with Basque heritage, Esquiule is a Basque village in Bearn. From here begins a beautiful hike that leads to the summit of Cambeillou, where the panoramic view opens the doors to the Basque Country.

An amazing loop for a trained athlete! Throwing yourself into this fabulous tour of the breath-taking landscapes is no trivial matter...it's quite a feat tackling endless ascents and chewing up gravelly paths! Fortunately these sections alternate with lovely recovery opportunities.

The route starting in Féas has lots to offer. It starts on the country road before the tone changes towards the Crête du Soum de Thès. The ascent gets steep and the landscape is stunning! The diverse descent is a real treat.

If you liked the circuit above Lanne-en-Barétous (n ° 3) for its heights and its panorama, you will love this circuit over Féas. The same principle, a first part uphill to reach the panoramic ridges, from where we will not want to descend since we will have reached these landscapes by pedal power. However, be careful, the difficulty increases a bit and, if electric assistance becomes essential to climb this summit, it must be accompanied by a good dose of piloting technique to pass between the stones. Once the challenge is done, the panorama from the summit is magnificent. The beginning of the descent, steep and in a ravine, requires vigilance, then it will be time to enter the karst path of the Harizpé forest and into the green valley.

A long escape through easy trails in the Gave d'Oloron valley, together with the Piedmont path to Santiago de Compostela, takes you to the villages of Aren and Préchacq-Josbaig, on the banks of the Joos. A first rolling part where you have to make sure to save battery, as you will need it especially in the second part of the journey. Change of scenery as the circuit passes towards the forested hills of Aren, Josbaig and Orin. The roads are not technical, but the climbs follow one another and a good management of your battery will be essential, the penultimate climb being the longest. The 40 kilometres will then be a real pleasure, where you can appreciate the built heritage, the landscapes among the foliage, the sudden Basque incursion into the town of Esquiule and the return through the karst chasms forests.

This one-of-a-kind and spectacular trail from one chasm to the next unlocks the gateway to the underworld. Have a family outing on a forest path stepping onto bridges over chasms to experience the incredible network of cavities under your feet.

Starting out from the charming village of Barcus, this is a circuit with modest mileage that nevertheless reveals a concentration of mountain biking in the purest all-mountain spirit. A short, bucolic stroll along the valley floor begins with the luxury of passing through the Paradis district. Then, without going so far as to say that the long ascent that follows is hellish, a solid climb of over 400 m in altitude awaits you, with some tough sections. It takes you up to the summit of Ahargo and its remarkable viewpoint. Wipe the sweat from your brow and take in the panorama, from the peaks of Béarn to Labourd. Then plunge straight down the slope towards Barcus, before embarking on a technical traverse over a cow slope. Finally, in the intimacy of the woods, a winding track offers a playful finale at the gateway to Barcus.

Ideal for a quick one to clear your head or for beginners, St-Pée Woods blend rolling uphill tracks and dirt paths that descent fans will love. Just the ticket for honing your skills and having fun with your friends! Watch out for pedestrians on these shared paths.

Don't be put off by the figures, this outing is suitable for anyone! The terrain is smooth and there are just a few climbs to make your muscles burn. The kilometres fly by and the settings change with them: trails through farms, by the stream or in the woods. You won't get bored here!

As you climb up to Camp de César and go around the ramparts, you can just picture Obelix popping out with a few wild boars under his arms. As you explore trails and winding paths, the whisper of the Bélandre and the sweet golden oriole's birdsong is your soundtrack.

The "La Grange des Georges" Bed and Breakfast is located in Lay-Lamidou, a village typical from the Béarn region, near the fortified Navarrenx, in the Gave d'Oloron valley (Gave being a name given to Pyrenean mountain streams). The Casebonne Farm is located in the Béarn region. Strong of its traditions and its ancestral knowledge, it proposes you organic and farm cheeses of character. The ewes, whose diet is natural with mainly hay produced on its fields and organic cereals when the winter is in full swing, switch to the fresh grass of its meadows when the good weather returns. These give a quality organic milk which allows to transform organic cheeses with a typical taste and character. Depending on the season, fresh cheeses (lactic or brick type) are available for sale on the farm.

Located in the Saint-Pée district, on the banks of the Green River, south of Oloron Sainte-Marie, the health trail offers a privileged setting in the heart of nature. Throughout the year, animals (sheep and donkeys) graze in the heart of the health trail.

Frédéric and Florence, brother and sister, took over their parents' family farm, located 5 minutes from the center of Oloron Sainte-Marie. Our pigs are fed on corn grown by us using sustainable farming methods. Come and discover the products made on the farm according to traditional recipes inherited from our parents and grandparents.

One of the last autarkic duck farms in the southwest, Uhartia Farm offers foie gras and duck confit made exclusively from the farm's own production. The ducks are raised for 4 months before being force-fed for 15 days on grain corn to produce excellent processed products. The ducks are fed and force-fed with non-GMO maize harvested on the farm and are not vaccinated. In July and August, visit of the farm (on call). Open from Monday to Friday and Saturday morning. Present on the markets of Anglet (Thursday), Oloron and Jurançon (Friday), Hendaye and Laruns. Products present at the Farmily & co, in Bayonne.

A storm wiped out Aramits forests and the surroundings in 1941. An ingenious cable system enabled the uprooted trees to be transported to the saw mills. There's still a stake a few metres from the car park.

The cathedral, listed by the Unesco as World Heritage, is the highlight of the episcopal see. Its romanesque doorway was made by two sculptors in the XIIth century. The nave, the ambulatory and the choir are gothic (XIVth and XVth centuries). Exceptional exhibition in the Treasure. Pedestrian walk from the car park "Monseigneur Saurine", thematic gardens, exhibition in the passage "Monseigneur Saurine" which leads to the cathedral square.
