The museum is housed in an old canvas factory built in 1856. From the former boss’s office to the garden, by way of the factory, discover the history of textiles in the Montagnes du Matin: damask, bolting cloth, silk and ties.

Welcome to our farm in the Monts du Lyonnais hills. We'll tell you all about farming and take you on a tour of the ewe breeding area, our red fruit production and take you to see the other animals: pigs, rabbits and poultry. Subject to prior booking.

XVII century chapel.

Salva Terra is a living museum of the Middle Ages and unique in France. It's a clever combination of fun, historical, cultural, educational and artistic activities… in fact there's always something going on at Salva Terra.

Come and discover the secrets of plants use for vegetable dyes, like in the Middle Ages, with guided tours on appointment. This garden brings together some hundred plants used in dyeing, a collection of ancient rose bushes and an organic vegetable garden.

The Auberge is set in a former small school in the hamlet of Bouchala. They serve traditional specialities of Lyon and Forez.
