Turn right into rue Joliot Curie, then right into rue du 8 mai 1945. In the main street, turn left, pass the town hall and turn right to reach the car park. This path takes part of the educational path of Corbarieu. You will get to know the local fauna and flora there. The route will take you to the valley of Guitardio, a haven of freshness during hot summer days. THE TRAIL STEP BY STEP Departure and parking: stadium car park 1. Turn left out of the car park and go up Rue du Stade to Rue Jean Jaurès. Cross opposite and take Rue de l'Eglise. 2. Turn right in front of the church and take the chemin de Galineste on the left (in the wrong direction). Continue through the Cité Bellevue, always straight ahead. After 280m continue straight, by a non-motorable road to follow for 300. Take the Côte de Dardé uphill. Turn right into Chemin de la Serre for 490m. 3. Leave the road by taking the chemin de Roquenol on the left. Descend into the undergrowth in the valley of the Guitardio stream that a footbridge overlooks. Go up the stairs and turn left on the Chemin de Morève, which must be followed to the Route du Fau. 4. Go down this on the left, then take the first on the left: Chemin de Cheminat. Turn left and go down the path. Cross the stream at the bottom of the valley. 3. Turn left and follow the road to the RD21, turn left and follow it for 140m. 4. Turn right and take the grassy path. Turn left at the road and follow it for 500m. Leave the road at the next bend, continuing straight on the path for 420m. 5. Turn left onto the road and follow it for 350m. At the next road, turn right towards the village, staying on the right sidewalk. Turn right after the town hall towards the car park. Arrive at a fork and turn right for 970m. 3. Take a footbridge and turn left. Follow the Lateral Canal for 685m. Take the canal bridge and continue straight for 520m. Turn right and follow for 875m. Turn left on the dirt road for 400m. 4. At the intersection, turn left for 150m, then take the dirt road to the right for 600m. (Alternative: turn right for 400m to go to the forest). Turn left for 1.675km. 5. At the intersection with the RD813, take the pedestrian crossing and walk for 160m along the road then go towards the municipal stadium on the right. Go around the stadium on the paved road. At the “Stop” sign, turn left for 70m. After the Calvary, turn right for 220m and take the dirt road below. 6. Cross the stream by the bridge and follow the La Mouline stream for 830m. Then take the footbridge and follow the Méric stream for 600m. At the intersection with a bridge and the road, turn left and drive 770m towards the Garonne. 7. On the left, follow the banks of the Garonne for 2.3 km. 8. This is an ideal route for families! This short loop passes through the area known as Les Estraqués, home to a number of equestrian centres. The route takes you along little-travelled roads, past fields and pastures where horses graze. Located near the village of Cordes-Tolosannes and Belleperche Abbey, there's plenty of scope to extend the circuit for those who want to!

Departure and parking: village square 1. Turn your back on the canal and head towards Montbeton. 2. Take the Montbeton road for 250m then cross the roundabout which marks the exit from the village. Take the Chemin de Vaysseillié slightly to the right. Then, follow the stream and cross the wooden footbridge. 3. Turn immediately right and take the Chemin de Tuc. Follow the path for 700m. 4. Turn left and take Chemin de Piliers for only 140m. 5. At the first crossroads, turn right onto Chemin de Mortarieu. 6. After 220m, there is a small footbridge on the right. For a shorter walk, cross the footbridge. For a longer walk, continue on the Chemin de Mortarieu. 7. After 970m, take the chemin de Noalhac and reach the Canal bridge. 7 (long). Consecrated in 1096, the basilica is a masterpiece of Romanesque art. The tympanum of the Miegeville door, sculpted capitals, the altar table or bas reliefs (above the crypt) marked and influenced art in Europe. The church is the largest monument of Romanesque origin remaining in the world. World Heritage of UNESCO as monument on the way to Compostela, the church with the relics of St. Sernin and many other relics (it was written that there was no holier place in the world after St. Peter Rome) attracted many pilgrims.

Close to the city and at the confluence of Ariege and Garonne, the banks of the river remain wild. The Confluence park can be reached with pontoon. At the XIV century, there was a bridge. The building is registered as historical monuments in 1955 and listed in 1986.
