You will discover paths lined with low dry stone walls, sunken paths, the Maison Berry (a listed building), Razès and its 12th century church, the village of Silord and its rural architectural heritage, wooded areas and streams. You are very close to the lake of Saint-Pardoux and its activities (swimming, sailing, tree climbing, mountain biking, indoor swimming pool, water skiing...).

This trail will make you discover the natural heritage of Razès, with its wetlands and pastures, its fauna and its preserved flora. Do not miss the Natura 2000 site dedicated to the Great Murin (bat) to learn more about this unusual species. Twelfth-century remains can be seen in the present-day southern chapel. The single 13th-century nave has 5 bays, ends in a polygonal apse and is flanked by 2 side chapels. The apse, with 5 sides and 4 buttresses, was added in 1495, with major work carried out in 1883, and is entirely covered with wall paintings. The north chapel and the 2nd bay of the south chapel date from the 16th century. The 1st bay, to the west, supports the chestnut shingled bell tower. The Limousin-style portal features 3 voussoirs and a pointed arch. The church has been listed as a Monument Historique since 1976.

While you're there, take a short break on the village's flower-filled square at the 2-table picnic area. Take the opportunity to visit the village, using the nearby "Circuit des Monts du Limousin" tourist board as inspiration.

Located in a protected Natura 2000 site and Zone Naturelle d?Intérêt Faunistique et Floristique, it was built over the river La Gartempe by the Compagnie du Paris-Orléans between 1852 and 1854, using stone cut from blue granite. It is 54.60 m high, 187 m long and comprises 12 arches on 2 levels. Up to 2,000 workers (earthworkers, carpenters, quarrymen, masons, blacksmiths) from the local area and other nationalities (Belgians, Italians) worked on it. The work cost 1.5 million gold francs.

The 13th-century church was built outside the village, but was rebuilt in 1833-1835 in the village itself and in the outbuildings of the former château. It is in the shape of an equal-armed cross, with a Romanesque dome. It was renovated in 1991-1992.
