This circuit traces the occupation of man through different eras: discover an oppidum of the Iron Age but also a site of the Templar and hospitable period as well as the transformation of some marshes into farmland.

Our beautiful landscapes of the Creuse during a bike ride! The small roads you will take will allow you to appreciate our countryside, our meadows and our buildings. A stop at Cressat, by the water and the straw hut to recharge your batteries, and you're off in the direction of Vigeville, where the footbridge over the Etang des Monts will draw you irresistibly to the island. Go back down to Jarnages, take the time to discover its market and its shops around the main square and do not hesitate to use the "benches to sit".

Follow the murmur of the water... it will guide you from wash house to wash house to horse trough, from fountains to fisheries and will make you relive the customs of yesteryear. And if you don't lose the thread, you will reach, for sure, the Paradise coast.

Built in the late 13th century, the Gothic-style church at Blaudeix is of the "Templar" type. Once a commandery of the Order of St. John the Baptist of Jerusalem, the church adjoined the commandery courtyard, of which all that remains today is the religious building. Inside is a niche with a well, enclosed by an original 12th-century wrought-iron grille. The carved wooden altar dates from the 19th century, while the polychrome wooden statue of Saint John the Baptist dates from the 18th century. The copper chase with champlevé enamel dates from the 13th century.
