Bernac, built in the 12th century, was reworked in the 15th century. It has a Plantagenet coat of arms on the façade of its portal. This long hike which passes successively through the communes of St-Astier, Villeneuve, St-Sernin and St-Jean crosses the A.O.C. vineyards of the Côtes de Duras but also numerous orchards of plum trees of Ente which produce the famous pruneau d'Agen.

The vineyards, woods and some plum orchards are present on most of this route, which is not very difficult but offers some nice views.
