Open the doors of Bussière-Boffy, a village of character, where a tour with explanatory panels leads to the discovery of a dozen wealthy houses. And retrace the probable itinerary of the Black Prince who was a knight, son of the King of England Edward III, whose legend tells that he left his claw on a stone of the church of Bussière-Boffy.

Discover the Frochet moor which is classified as a ZNIEFF (Natural Zone of Ecological, Faunistic and Floristic Interest). The ridge path offers beautiful views over the Charente Limousine and the Basse-Marche. You can meet the harrier or the nightjar, which nests in the ash heather and the common callune.

This trail is constantly on two levels, one terraced, the other clinging to the hillside. Passage near the Etricor chapel, Beaulieu former hamlet of the commune of Chassenon, with 4 diversions of 4-7-8-10 km Blue signposting. At the Etagnac roundabout, take the D193 towards Chassenon. At the bottom of the road, there is a car park on the right, 3km away (blue route markings).

This hike takes a look at the river Charente, particularly appreciated by François I, with all that the landscape reading can provide us.

The paths crossed are in the northern extension of the plateau of the red flinty soils of the Ruffecois, and are well in an atmosphere of Charentais landscapes.

At the heart of numerous unspoilt natural sites, including the Butte de Frochet, the Monts de Blonds... The totally independent, unoverlooked gîte opens onto a terrace overlooking lawned grounds and a 6x4 m above-ground heated swimming pool open from June to the end of September. Route départementale 86 passes right by the property.

After the Eucharistic miracle of April 2, 1643, when only a host and the foot of a chalice miraculously survived a fire, Pressac became famous. It was classified as a Historic Monument in 1987.
