With a route of 17 km and no difficulties, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the peace and quiet that surrounds the rich landscape of the Vézère valley! Saint-Viance, a small hamlet immersed in a unique setting, is the starting point for your tour. Don't miss seeing the shrine of Saint-Viance in the church, which has been a listed monument since 1891. You will then follow the Vézère river for the most part, to arrive at Le Saillant. Upon arrival, you can enjoy a gothic style bridge with ogival arches, and many other sights await you! If you like the built heritage, then a diversion to Allassac will not be too much for you. An open-air museum, the historic monuments are on display all year round, notably the round tower, one of the only ones in the Limousin.

The GR®46 long-distance hiking trail links Tours to Toulouse over a total distance of 945 km. In Corrèze, the 150 km route leads from Lacelle in the north, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional de Millevaches, to Turenne, one of France's most beautiful villages, with its superb castle perched on a rocky promontory offering 360° panoramic views over the Causse and Quercy landscapes. Along the way, you'll discover Treignac, a Petite Cité de Caractère nestled in the Massif des Monédières, and also Uzerche, labelled "Plus Beau Détour de France", otherwise known as La Perle du Limousin with its rich heritage. You don't have a car, or you're looking for an eco-responsible holiday? The entire itinerary can be completed from the stations at Lacelle, Uzerche, Vigeois, Estivaux, Allassac and Turenne.

This generous land bears witness to the marvellous skills of medieval builders in such exceptional sites as Aubazine and Saint-Robert. Further west, the Vézère winds its way through hills and flowering orchards to form a verdant valley. It's all there to amaze you... but the star of this land remains the apple, of which there are 250 varieties in Corrèze, found in the orchards between Objat and Juillac.

Discover the Ardoise region through this 61 km long sportive route! Your tour starts in Donzenac, a pretty town of character. Once an important fortified town, Donzenac has lost none of its charm thanks to its medieval architecture. At the highest point of the oldest part of the town is the astonishing castle of the barons of Donzenac, which is surely the oldest remaining residence in the town. After a few kilometres in the legs, you arrive at the gates of Allassac! Amongst its rich heritage, the 14th century fortified church and the Tour César are worth discovering. To complete the loop, allow yourself a well-deserved break to discover the Pans de Travassac. The interest of the site is explained by its impressive coloured cliffs, which do not fail to surprise, just like its decor which harmonises mineral and plant environments.

This route allows you to admire the views over Donzenac and its plain from the village of Mazières. It then sinks into the shaded valley of the two Maumonts, which it crosses at the mill of Theil, to emerge on the top of the slopes by the charming village of Cévennes. It then dips back into the Maumonts valley one last time before reaching the famous Travassac slate quarry site Finally, a short detour to the medieval village of Donzenac allows you to take a refreshing break in the town square before finishing this hike.

The Voie Verte links Aubazine station to St-Pantaléon de Larche along the river, in the Corrèze valley. It crosses Brive-la-Gaillarde and thus ensures the link between these 2 parts of the route.

At the gates of Brive, but already in the countryside, this shady route takes you through the Planchetorte valley, an important listed and preserved site. Numerous caves occupy the sandstone walls. Difficult to see in summer, they were habitats and shelters for the men of the Paleolithic. The Planchetorte valley is also incredibly rich in flora because of the diversity of environments that can be observed there.

Discover the Yssandonnais region by bike on this hilly 53.3 km route. Colourful landscapes, local buildings made of red sandstone and whitish sandstone, this is a beautiful excursion that awaits you! In the generous lands of Objat, local products are omnipresent in the local scenery with orchards of apples with the AOP label, but also raspberries, strawberries, walnuts, chestnuts, as well as truffles and ceps. After a good effort, make a stop at Saint-Robert, labelled "Most Beautiful Villages in France". Perched on its hillock, its heritage of medieval origin is perfectly enhanced by the hilly landscape. For the rest of the route, if you like viewpoints and beautiful panoramas, make a diversion to the Puy d'Yssandon!

Starting from Objat and its lake on the banks of the Loyre, a walk in the heart of the wooded, hedged landscape of the Yssandonnais. You will discover the villages of La Roche and Charriéras, with their old houses and narrow streets. The path, in the shade of large oak trees, offers a beautiful panorama of the red sandstone village of Saint Cyr la Roche, its castle and its church. You will take the rue des Diligences which overlooks the valley of the Mayne stream and return to Objat via the station area. Close to the village is a 16-hectare leisure area, including an eco-pool. The Sunday markets are an ideal opportunity to discover local producers and taste Objat's specialities. The fairs for milk-fed calves, raised under the mother's milk, have enabled Objat and its foirail to be classified as a "remarkable site of taste".

The 12th-century red sandstone church of Saint-Julien features two 12th-century Romanesque capitals, a small gilded wooden altarpiece from the Counter-Reformation period (17th century) and a 14th-century cross base representing the Three Orders: those who pray, those who war and those who work.

Located at the foot of the Mons temple hill, the fountain, as in many commanderies, is public and for pilgrims passing through and for use by local residents. It bears the name of Saint Rémy, in keeping with the dedication of the commandery chapel in Templar times. Its source is the vein of water that runs beneath this ancient chapel. The fountain is said to be miraculous, thanks in part to the many legends that accompany it.

The church of St Viance has stood on the banks of the Vézère since Roman times. It has been listed as a historic monument since 1972. Its buttresses, columns, capitals, modillions? all bear witness to Romanesque art, whose exceptional character has been recognized by the French Monuments Historiques. We can admire in particular the reliquary shrine of the church's patron saint, the hermit Saint Viance, as well as the very beautiful champlevé enamel holy oil box. Made in the mid-12th century, this is the largest enamelled shrine preserved in the Limousin region, and one of the most interesting for its iconography. Decorative enamel elements of various shapes, with ornamental, architectural or historiated motifs, are applied to a facing of thin sheets of embossed and gilded copper, covering the wooden core.

A rowing boat and oars are at your disposal, as well as a fridge for fishing. The gîte has two bedrooms upstairs, each with its own shower room/WC. The first has a 160cm bed that can be converted into two 80cm beds, while the second has a 160cm bed. On the first floor, an open-plan kitchen/dining room, living room and bathroom/WC...
