A new itinerary in the heart of the Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park. The best way to discover the specificities of the Périgord-Limousin is on foot! A journey of 200 km for 7 to 10 days of walking or 3 to 4 days by mountain bike, is offered to hikers through the plateaus and valleys of the Périgord, the Limousin bocage and the chestnut forests. Mountain bikers will complete the loop in 3 or 4 days! Thanks to the proximity of public transport (train, bus) and the greenways, it is also possible to modulate the itinerary at will, which is one of the strong points of this Grande Boucle.

The pond of the Bard, of a surface of 6 hectares is fed by the brook of Valouse. It was created to supply water to the wheels of the old forge. A 2 km walk allows you to go around the pond. Along its banks, you will discover typical marsh plants: cardamine of the meadows, burning lobelia or the marsh marigold but also a remarkable fauna: black woodpecker, grey heron or the diving pin. Throughout the walk, picnic areas are set up to share a meal with friends. Christophe decided to return to his roots on his grandparents' farm. Little by little, saffron became a professional story. He also makes jams with saffron and various fruits.

At the Jardins de Frugie, discover the fascinating world of permaculture, but also the aromatic spiral, the vegetable gardens in squares, the labyrinth of small fruits that you can taste. It's also a place to relax! You can walk around the pond and children can enjoy the games! Nesting boxes have been installed to welcome many different birds!

Anne and Frédéric have run a small organic farm for over 30 years! With 6 ha of open-air orchards, they produce apple and fruit juices, apple sparkling wine, ciders and cider vinegar.

Looking for all kinds of activities? Then head to Espace Hermeline for an outdoor adventure! In a pleasant setting, on a 5-hectare pond crossed by a first-category stream, you can fish for carp, trout, tench, roach and gudgeon from March to September. 2 handi-fishing pontoons are available for people with reduced mobility. Fishing cards are on sale at the Espace Hermeline reception desk (during opening hours) or at www.cartedepeche.fr.

Several picnic areas with tables, benches and toilets are available along the Espace Hermeline lake.

Its specialty is the "Guémené" galette made with andouille sausage; but if you're more of a sweet tooth, let yourself be persuaded by the crêpe with homemade caramel beurre salé or chestnut cream. Alternatively, you can compose your own galette with the ingredients of your choice!
