Departing from the Martinèche, Martin Nadaud invites you to discover the paths of his childhood to discover the built and natural heritage of Soubrebost.From the Martinèche car park, take the road around the Martin Nadaud house and leave the village.At the crossroads, head in the direction of Vidaillat and continue on the RD34a.Leave the road to take the first track on the right and then continue on the path that branches off to the right. At the crossroads, turn right towards Bourganeuf.A few metres after the town hall, take the grassy path on the right and then turn left onto the path leading to Beaumartys.Go past a wayside cross, continue straight ahead, then join a small road. Follow it on the right to Beaumartys. Go through the village and continue straight on, on the path that passes between two barns.Continue through alternating meadows and woodlands and observe the landscape... many viewpoints follow one another.At the crossroads at the bottom of the Puy de la Martinèche, take the path on the right and continue down to the village of Martinèche.

Go down the Rue Antoine d'Aubusson which runs alongside the château.At the national road, turn left.Cross the bridge over the Thaurion and take the first road on the left. 500 m further on, after the old mill, continue alongside the Thaurion. Follow the path to the road and turn left to reach the village of La Martinèche. Pass in front of Martin Nadaud's house. To discover the Nine-step stone 500 m further on, turn right at the crossroads at the Martinèche exit. After less than 100 m, go up by the path on the left. At the top of the hill is an enormous and enigmatic rock, said to have beneficial virtues. To continue the walk, retrace your steps. At Martin Nadaud's house, leave the road and take the forest track that goes up the hill. Then turn right at the first path.At the road, turn left. After 1 km, at the crossroads with the D941, turn right to reach the village of Pontarion.

Discovering the Thaurion Gorges, a site listed since 1983 and classified as Natura 2000, is like diving into the heart of nature and human history.From the bridge, take the path along the river until it rises up to an old bridge.At this bridge, the path forks to the left.Turn left at the crow's foot to start the return trip. This wide path climbs, and then you reach a ledge.Take the first pathway on the left that goes down to the river, then turn right before you get there. The path goes up in parallel with the road.At the intersection, do not return to the starting point on your left, continue straight ahead by the trail that joins a wide path and then, immediately, the road.Take the road on the left, then a few metres further on, the first trail on the right that climbs into the woods to a small heather moor.Once on the heathland, cross it by turning to the left following the ridge. Go down a narrow path that joins the road.Take the road to the right to finish the walk.

Organic farm. We offer our beef and pork farm products for direct sale by appointment (at the farm, at markets in Pontarion, Eymoutiers, Guéret, etc., or for delivery in the region). Farming is also an educational tool for the VASI jeunes association (Valorisation appui aux initiatives de jeunes), which runs a youth center in the Belleville forest in the commune of Vidaillat. Our farm is in the hamlet of Le Puy, on the right as you leave Vidaillat towards Le Monteil au Vicomte (on the D45). We're 15km from Pontarion, 30km from Guèret and 25km from Aubusson. We're on the edge of the Millevaches plateau, at an altitude of 600m.
