Very nice loop which will make you discover the weather station located on the heights of Grèzes as well as the orientation table, if the weather is clear you will see the mountains of Auvergne.

Between Vézère and Causse you can visit the village of Pazayac with its wash houses, crosses, fountains and continue your journey towards Grèzes through the undergrowth, beware the coast is long.

On the Causse Terrassonnais, you can discover a very rich fauna and flora, many species of orchids to discover from March to July.

An atypical vacation home, that's what travelers often say about the Moulin de la Doux. The elegant, high-rise building in which you'll be spending your vacation has lived several lives. In the 13th century, it was first used as an abbey by Templar monks. Its Gothic arched openings bear witness to this. Around 1660, the abbey, near the Doux, a tributary of the Couze, was naturally transformed into a sunflower oil mill and a grain mill. At the time, the mill belonged to the lord of the castle of Couzage! Forgotten for several centuries, the mill was reborn in the 2000s, following extensive restoration work by its former owners. This watch and defence tower, with its 14th century military architecture, is the only remnant of a former feudal castle. It commanded the passage of the roads to Terrasson and from Brive to Sarlat. From its top one could send signals towards the tower of Yssandon and the castle of Noailles in Corrèze. Plundered by the reitres around 1569 the castle of Chavagnac was destroyed by a fire before the Revolution, the roof of the tower disappeared in this fire as well as a large part of the church. 25 metres high, 8 metres wide, its stone walls are 1.60 metres thick. It has beautiful mullioned windows on three floors. From the top of this building, on a clear day, it is said that you can see seven departments.

Church of the 12th and 15th centuries Church with a flat bell tower on the porch, and a square bell tower forming a tower on the choir. Porch with three moulded arcades, and carved head above. Originally a single nave building. Two side chapels. Small Romanesque choir with sculpted capitals. Above the choir is a living room. Open every day from 8 am to 7 pm. -

At the exit of Terrasson direction Brive come and visit La Ferme du Moulin. Discover "duck in all its forms" as well as the mini-farm. Direct sales of products elaborated in true tradition. In July and August, each Wednesday and Friday, we organise a tasting session on reservation. Groups welcome.

Athos Agora is a shop selling monastic products from the Orthodox Monastery of the Transfiguration, (La Vasserie - 24120 TERRASSON-LAVILLEDIEU). You can find products made by the nuns: jams, nuts, walnut oil, sheep's wool as well as a wide variety of products from different abbeys. Coach parking available.

The Romanesque church dates back to the 12th century. It features a domeless cupola, geminated arcades and projecting cornices. It has two side chapels, built later. The southern one is the oldest, while the northern one dates back only to 1732, when a number of parishioners pledged to finance the work, reserving burial rights for themselves. Until 1778, certain noble families were buried in the chapels and children in the sacristy. For reasons of hygiene, this tradition was abolished in 1778. The slabs from these burials were removed during the French Revolution and later used to rebuild the staircase steps. A cross remains on the first step. Emma Laffon and Michel Soulié donated a stained-glass window for the north chapel: St Michel terrassant le dragon (St Michael slaying the dragon)
