At the foot of the imposing Roche Close, this route allows you to discover one of the main alpine pastures of Seyne Country: La Grand Montagne, along with its iconic cabin. It is a grazing area for cattle and horses. "Starting from the car park along the La Blanche ravine, after the wooden bridge at the exit of the Maure hamlet, the itinerary goes up either along the La Blanche torrent or via a forest track through a larch forest, leading to the Cabane des Mulets. The return can be made via the track. A possible variation is to continue on a trail to the alpine pastures of Grande Montagne and descend through the south slope of Tourtourel, creating a loop of 6km that lasts 3 hours and 30 minutes, with an elevation gain of 500m.

Along this circuit you will discover how the river Verdon is born and its importance for Val d'Allos and Provence. From the car park of Ubac at Val d'Allos - La Foux, follow the dipper, the small bird who will accompany you for a playful discovery of Verdon's sources.

A route partially in the forest, at the sources of the Blanche, very important flora in June and July, below the Blanche range and Roche close, grazing area for cattle and horses. From the car park along the Blanche ravine, after the wooden bridge located at the exit of the hamlet of Maure. The route follows the Blanche torrent to the Mulets cabin then continues on the right, on a path in a larch forest to the Grande Montagne mountain pastures. The return is on the southern slope of Tourtourel, more arid, and returns through the forest to the starting point. Ravin de la Blanche – From the bridge, go up the track on the left bank. At the first hairpin bend, follow the path straight ahead. It follows the stream, crosses it twice then climbs on a ridge to the Mulets cabin. Cabane des Mulets – Cross the torrent and go up to the left towards the woods. A little further up, find a path which crosses to the right in the larch forest. After crossing several valleys and wooded ridges, the path leaves the woods and emerges into the mountain pastures at a pass. The cows having multiplied the paths, pay attention to the markings and follow the correct path. Cougnet de l'Alisier – From the collar, continue straight ahead and go down the opposite slope, in bends along a ridge. Join a vehicle track, follow it on the left to the pastoral cabin of Couloubroux. At the edge of the ravine, turn right and follow the path which goes flat into the meadow (pay attention to the markings, the cows have increased the number of paths). Cross the southern slope of Tourtourel, cross the rocky bar of the same name then continue into the forest. After two bends, the path goes steeply down the slope then goes flat to the right at a wetland. After crossing the Touisses ravine, return to the starting point via the forest path.

Mineral walk direction a high-mountain refuge, with a point of view between the high valley of Bléone and Haut-Verdon. The return is recommended by baisse de l'Aiguille. At the departure of the lift Pont de Labrau, a beautiful sport hike between the Valley of Allos and the borders of Provence: the accomplished efforts are largely rewarded by the beauty of the landscapes, got by the circus of Estrop, with the visible refuge far off.

Refreshing easy hike in the heart of the Blanche national forest. To access the Forest House of Bellevue from Seyne-les-Alpes (9 km), take the D207 towards Montclar, then the D607 to Saint-Pons, where you will follow the forest track of Col-Bas (open from May to October). There is a car park available at the intersection of the road and tracks near the house.

A demanding hike to a magnificent 360° viewpoint over the Ventoux and the Barre des Ecrins. This route follows the GR®6, between Ubaye and Blanche, along the ridge edge. Watch the griffon vultures soar above the thermals. From Seyne-les-Alpes (6 km), take the D207 towards Montclar, then the D607 to Saint-Pons, where you follow the Col-Bas forest track (open from May to October). Car park at the crossroads of the road and tracks near the Maison Forestière. Maison Forestière de Bellevue - At the crossroads with the Maison Forestière, take the path that climbs up from the top of the crossroads on the right-hand side of the road and into the forest. It alternates between several large hairpins and gradually climbs between the larches to reach a crossroads. La Chaumasse - Follow the GR®6 and GR®69 uphill towards the Col de Bernardez. The path gradually leaves the forest and crosses some scree. Col de Bernardez - At the col, head directly left along the ridge towards the peak, following a path that is sometimes lightly marked and uneven to reach the summit. Switch to the other side and descend towards the Pic de Savernes, which you must skirt to the left. Reach the Col Bas without going over the summit. Col Bas - At Col Bas, take the track on the left down towards Seyne les Alpes. After 1 km, reach a bend in the track. Take the path on the outside of the bend in the track. It becomes narrow and descends in a series of small, sometimes slippery, banked bends. Reach point 2 and then descend along the GR® to the start car park.
