Eguisheim offers you an original discovery trail! The main themes of our town are illustrated through 9 plaques along the trail. It provides you the portrait of our town and an awareness of its key features. Through the 9 stages, you could find the colours of the houses, the gates of the medieval city, the inscriptions above the door, the stone engravings, the chateau... To complete the visit, a booklet is available at the tourist office (3€ each, 5€ for two). This little bok is designed to broaden your understanding of the themes illustrated along the trail, while keeping you amused at every step. A special booklet have been made for your children, titled "Pssst! Another Alsatian village... for all children fed up with following their parents around!". With games and paintings, your children would love to discover this medieval city. Finally, on each plaque you'll find a QRcode connecting you to videos. The Three Châteaux of the Haut d'Eguisheim have an extraordinary presence in the landscape. All the way along the Vignoble et Châteaux (Vineyards and Châteaux) walk you can enjoy these treasures from their best angles, close up and from a distance. This wine trail enables the visitor to discover more about the vineyards and wines of Eguisheim in a original way. Information boards in front of various vineyards describe the seven grape varieties, while others explain the works of the winegrowers during the year. The visitor will also learn about our two Grands Crus vineyards "Eichberg" and "Pfersigberg", their geology and microclimate, while enjoying an exceptionnal view over Eguisheim, its vineyards and the Three Castles.

This itinerary takes you across plain and hillsides so that you can explore the rich, varied land between Eguisheim and Pfaffenheim. A broad section of the towpath along the river Lauch offers you a magnificent panorama of the vineyards and the Vosges Mountains. The landscapes on this itinerary between river and hillsides are exceptional in every season.

The Bildstoeckle vineyard overlooking Obermorschwihr offers a triple view to the walker. Along the first stretch, look southwards in the direction of Notre-dame du Schauenberg to see a uniquely unified perspective from loft to right of the Piedmont (alluvial glacier plain) forest, vineyards and plain. On a second stretch, look Marbach and the sandstone cliffs, a result of the past esploitation of the quarries. Look northwards along the third stretch, which is strongly structured by the Three Châteaux, and by an ample view over Colmar.

This path links the car-park of the Three Castles to the car-park of the Hohlandsbourg. This path is easy, pleasant and without different of level. The path is marked with the squirrel print.

Set up in 1957, the Vauban Museum occupies the ground floor of the Belfort Gate. Going through the two rooms, the visitor will learn about the fortress of Neuf-Brisach, the last fortification built by Vauban before he died. The displays will tell him something about the history of the town, from the date of its construction in 1699 to the present day times. A raised-relief plan shows the fortress such as it was conceived by Vauban; it is a faithful copy of the model on display in the Relief Model Museum in Paris. Among other interesting documents, the visitor will ind the plans of the fortification and the techniques of construction; the layout of the various buildings; a bust statue of Vauban made by Coysevox and documentation about the 1870 siege and WWII.

Inside the ramparts of the Vauban citadel in Neuf-Brisach, internationally renowned artists have taken over nearly 1,200m² of an old casemate to create the MAUSA Vauban. The 1.1 kilometre track offers 700 metres of descent with a negative difference in height of 78 metres, a 450-degree spin, a tunnel, passages over the ski and bike slopes...
