The history of Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion dates back to the 16th century and has been very consistent since its birth. In 1584, the lord of Haut-Brion, Jean de Pontac, gave the Grands Carmes a vast mill with meadows and vines. A haven of peace and a garden of abundance, the place was supplied with pure, living water from the inexhaustible source of the "eubrion" fountain. The congregation remained the sole owner of the site for more than two hundred years and, as it extended its lands to other parts of the Haut-Brion vineyard, usage gradually imposed the name "Carmes Haut-Brion" on the estate.

Château Sénéjac is located in Le Pian Médoc. It covers 150 hectares, including 41 hectares of vines. In the Haut-Médoc appellation, the estate produces two wines: Château Sénéjac and Comte de Sénéjac. In Martignas-sur-Jalle, nature lovers enjoy walks along the banks of the Jalles River, ideal for discovering the particular flora and fauna of this protected site classified Natura 2000. From the Moulin Bidon site, named after the Bidon family's old water mill, you can walk along the paths and, thanks to the duckboards, keep your feet dry, even in the wetlands. A picnic area, two bowling alleys, a giant checkers game and an exhibition on biodiversity await you. A monumental fountain in Mérignac, the Fontaine d'Arlac has a natural and constant spring.
