Accessibility: shuttle bus - stop Tourist Office Departure : Tourist Office Route: from the departure of the Forêt ski lift, take the groomed path that goes up on the left towards the Forêt district. When you arrive under the Carrets chairlift, go up to the right under the chairlift until it arrives. From there, turn right and follow the summer road until you reach the Manant chairlift, then climb to the top of Mont Bisanne along the Bisanne ski lift. Note: you can take the shuttle bus to the Plan du Pré stop, walk up the road for about a hundred metres to join the route at the arrival of the Carrets chairlift. You can also take the Bisanne chairlift to reach the summit and do the downhill run.

Long loop around Mont Bisanne, mainly on a forest track. Great landscape diversity. After having circumvented the Tourbière des Saisies and joined the Lac des Saisies, a small climb then descent to Bisanne 1500. Crossing on the southern slope to Nantailly. Descent to Plan des Loups on a track and path, then on a balcony on the old rural road linking Beaufort to Hauteluce. Return to the starting point with the shuttle.

Very nice path through the alpine pastures of Plan Périot. Breathtaking views of Mont Blanc from the summit of Chard du Beurre and then return through the Covetan forest. Chard means small hill in Savoyard patois.

Completely accessible course on gravel. Very physical circuit but without technical difficulty, mainly uncovered on alpine tracks facing south, beware of hot weather. First descent to the village of Hauteluce before a flat part on the road to reach Annuit. From there, a long climb up the alpine track to reach the Col de Véry. Short portage to reach the top of Mont de Vorès. Ridge trail to Crête de Douce then return to Les Saisies via the ridge alpine track passing through the Col de la Lézette. You will evolve near pastures, stay on the trails, and respect the work of the mountaineers.

You’ll find a relaxed atmosphere, sunny terrace and the chance to taste some regional dishes. Wherever possible, the refuge tries to use good locally-grown, organic produce in its cooking. They work mainly using un-processed ingredients, with the team taking great pleasure to cook simple, homemade dishes. The lunchtime menu changes slightly according to the season : In the summer, we mainly offer savoury and sweet crêpes as well as homemade pastries and cakes. In the winter, our menu is enhanced with tasty, regional dishes that will recharge the batteries of our ski enthusiasts and will show off our most famous regional food.

A protected natural site 10,000 years old, unique in the Alps! Discover this ecosystem at the Maison des Tourbières or through thematic trails in open visits, guided tours, animations, workshops, games and conferences ... Located between 1550 and 1718 m altitude, this peat bog of 290 hectares is a relic of the last ice age. The largest peat bog in the Alps, it has a rare flora and fauna, and its ranking as a Regional Nature Reserve in 2013 helps protect all this fragile biodiversity. During periods outside snow, you can walk in the heart of this peat bog, on two specially designed trails allowing you to discover this special biotope. This peat bog has its origin in the passage on the neck of a glacial tongue. This is a very rare site in France since this type of peat bog is generally found in the Scandinavian mountains. A botanical wealth out of the ordinary, since there are extremely rare or even unique plants in Savoie, as well as carnivorous plants. Explanatory booklets are on sale in the Tourist Offices. It will enlighten you on the functioning of this ecosystem.

This baroque church is famous for its steeple that we call "clocher à bulbe". This monument is dedicated to St Jacques d'Assyrie (1st évêque of Tarentaise).
