A "solid" refuge on a large flat, near two lakes, but in a high mountain site with nearby glaciers, and facing the long border ridge of The Levannas.
The ice (class) site of the refuge is exceptional and despite its withdrawal well apparent the Evettes glacier remains nearby.
A refuge offering hikers a very appreciable comfort, and a very wide panorama. Accommodation is in small dormitories of 4 to 7 places, plus two large dormitories.
A historic and renovated refuge.
