Lac des Balmettes

A familial itinerary allowing to discover a delightful mountain lake.

Starts: From the Chef-lieu of St Colomban, go to the forest track of Frumezan (road behind the church), park on the 12th hairpin bend on a little parking (torrent near and chalets below the parking).
The path starts on a steep slope. Cross a little torrent then follow the hairpin bends. Possibility to continue to the Balmettes pass.

Variation: Go up to the summit of the forest track to reach the parking of the chalet RTM. Rise less steep but passing of a scree. Possibility to do this itinerary on a loop.
