Description
This day hike starts from the Lutzelhouse train station and goes through the forest to reach the Falkenstein peak, offering a magnificent view on the Bruche valley. The hike continues to the top of the Schelmeck thatch, at 750 m altitude, which offers a clear view of the Alsace plain and where the orientation table is located. Once at the top, the hike goes back down along the Muhlbach stream to the starting point at the Lutzelhouse train station.
