Guebwiller Valley cycle route

At the foot of the Grand Ballon, the Guebwiller Valley cycle route follows the Lauch from the Lac de la Lauch to Issenheim. The route has a steep gradient from Lac de la Lauch to Lautenbach, then a moderate gradient for the rest of the way. You'll pass through the forested villages of Linthal, Buhl and Lautenbach, and enjoy a visit to Guebwiller, with its rich industrial past. The region has been awarded the "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire" label, and boasts a wealth of attractions. Don't miss the sumptuous Murbach Abbey, the Dominicans of Haute-Alsace or the impressive terraced vineyards on the mountainside!
