Balade en raquettes au Schnepfenried : Circuit 5- À travers les Hautes-Chaumes

Access: From Munster follow Metzeral. Once in Metzeral, follow Sondernach, then take the "Station du Schnepfenried" sign after leaving the village. At the hairpin turn into the resort, follow signs for "Col du Platzerwasel".

Departure point : Parking du Col du Platzerwasel



You start your journey with a short descent on the Nordic route shared with cross-country skiers. Please respect skiers by staying on the edge of the piste.

After a few hundred meters, turn right towards the Ferme-Auberge du Uff Rain
.
Just beside the Uff Rain, the route continues in a straight line towards the Ferme-Auberge du Salzbach on a pleasant flat path, first over stubble and then through forest.

After a good kilometer, you come out above the Salzbach, which you just have to reach.

Follow the path back up to the Nordic road, which you will follow back to your starting point.
