Description
The Circuit des Biches is the longest hiking loop in Luchon-Superbagnères.
It will take you to two lakes: La Laquette and the Arbesquens basin. Alternating between forests and more rocky landscapes, this route offers lesser-known and wilder views where you can discover the area and the valley from a different angle.

Detailed stages
1 - The start is the same as for the Circuit des Crêtes, 100 metres before you reach the Superbagnères plateau.
2 - After a short climb to the Crabioules chairlift and a stop at the orientation table, continue right on the Crêtes trail until you reach a ski lift.
3 - Continue along the trail that descends to a small lake called "La Laquette".
4 - Continue along a route on the mountainside that leads to the Hount Estrete ski area.
5 - The trail continues to the right through a wooded area. When you leave the woods, descend along a ski slope to reach the departure point of two chairlifts and the Arbesquens basin.
6 - The return to Superbagnères is along a ski slope. -
