Start sign for the play area, rue du Forgeron
For your own safety, always take a bottle of water, a hat, warm clothing and footwear suitable for walking.
Depending on the weather conditions, some routes are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked paths. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your rubbish.
From the start sign, go right down the road, staying on the D524, ignoring the side paths. At the junction with the D988, take the track opposite. Turn right at the fork. At the T-junction, turn left. At the four tracks, turn right for 20 m and, at the fork, go left. Follow this main path, ignoring the side paths, all the way to the road.
1 - Turn right (view of the bocage). Cross the D988 in the direction of ‘les Bétules’. At the sign for ‘les Bétules’, take the track on the right, passing under the power line. At the road, go straight ahead, leaving the track on your right. At the house, continue along Route des Palombes until you reach a T-junction.
2 - Turn left and then right onto rue des Fioloux. At the left-hand bend, leave this road and go straight ahead on the track, ignoring a track on the left, and turn right onto a grassy track leading downhill. At the crossroads with several paths, continue downhill on this main path until you come to a stone cross at the bottom of the ‘captages’ road in the hamlet of ‘les Crouzons’.
3 - Turn right. Continue along this road ‘rue des captages et rue des Ouches’. Pass ‘place de l'église’, turn right into ‘rue de la Naute et place de la mairie’ then left into ‘rue St Roch’, PP1 (Lavoir) and return to the starting point.
