It brings together on the same site, a four-star campsite, an aquatic area, a restaurant and a lake dedicated to aquatic and nautical leisure activities, as well as a "Pavillon bleu" beach. 140 hectares of greenery, between lakes and river, provide the backdrop for a day visit, short or long stay. Five interconnected lakes, with beaches, picnic and barbecue tables, playgrounds, a Maison des Sports... a concentration of leisure activities and services. The large lake is the ideal starting point for exploring the byways and landscapes of the Bresse bocage. Home to the characteristic Bresse farmhouses with their Saracen chimneys, this is also the land of the famous Bresse poultry, as well as Bresse PDO butter and cream. Along the Reyssouze river, you'll discover a combination of heritage and nature, mills, wet meadows and gravel pits. Bresse is also a land of ponds, including Pontremble, one of the largest and a favorite of migratory birds, and Bizadan, a Sensitive Natural Area, a marsh in the heart of the forest. A mix of paths between hills and valleys to discover a bocage territory dotted with the famous Saracen chimneys typical of Bresse half-timbered farms. Cette église possède un auvent (porche à galonnière) remarquable datant du 15ème siècle. Celui-ci est soutenu par des piliers dit "pattes d'éléphant". A l'intérieur de l'église dans la chapelle nord, on peut noter deux curieuses têtes humaines sculptées.La très ancienne Abbaye de Saint-Pierre-hors-les murs à Mâcon possédait un prieuré à Saint-Jean-sur-Reyssouze. C'est vraisemblablement Humbert, religieux de cet Abbaye qui fit construire cette église paroissiale à la fin du 12ème et début du 13ème siècle. Cette église romane fut placée sous le patronage de Saint Jean-Baptiste. Le porche d'entrée possède une archivolte ajourée. L'église possède trois cloches. La plus grosse porte l'inscription suivante : " La fabrique m'a faite en 1890 pour que je salue les baptisés, que j'appelle le peuple, que je chasse les nuages. Je me réjouis avec les nouveaux mariés et je pleure les morts". L'église de Saint-sur-Reyssouze et sa cloche de 1763 ont été classées Monuments Historiques le 20 septembre 1943.
