A landmark on the Opal Coast, Cap Blanc-Nez sits majestically between Wissant and Sangatte.
The summit of the cape is now accessible to people with reduced mobility, with a loop of around 1 km.At the summit, you can admire an obelisk commemorating the “Dover Patrol”, which protected shipping convoys during the First World War.Viewpoints have been set up on former blockhouses, offering a breathtaking view of the Pas-de-Calais Strait. On a clear day, you can also see the English coastline. Another belvedere offers a view of the Fond Pignon site, a vast artificial body of water left over from the digging of the Channel Tunnel.
