Start in front of the Château-sur-Cher town hall
For your own safety, always take a bottle of water, a hat, warm clothing and footwear suitable for walking.
Depending on the weather conditions, some routes are not recommended in bad weather (fog) or are not practicable, or even forbidden, during the winter season.
Some sites are fragile, so stay on the marked paths. Avoid picking wild flowers and disturbing wildlife. Pick up your rubbish.
Departure point: Take the path opposite the town hall down to a road. Follow it to the right. At
stop sign, continue along the road opposite. After the bridge, go up 100m to a house on the left.

1 - Turn left onto the path that leads up into the undergrowth. At the top of the climb, 10m up the left-hand
path, (viewpoint over the Cher gorges). Continue until you reach a track on the left.
2 - Take this and go down the main path to reach the Chambon mill
with a view over the Cher. Head up the Cher valley and, after crossing the bridge in
the village, take the first turning on the right. Cross the road and head uphill. At the next road,
, go straight on. As you climb the hill, take the first track on the right and then turn right around
the church to get back to the starting point.
