GRP® Monts et Barrages en Limousin - Etape 4 - Du lac de Vassivière (Auphelle) à Nedde

Departing from Auphelle, this fourth stage of the 17km GR® de Pays Monts et Barrages en Limousin takes you to Nedde, in the heart of the Limousin mountains.
For the first few kilometers, the trail skirts the shore of the lake, offering fine panoramic views of Vassivière Island. It then gradually moves away from the lake, winding its way through forests, moors and damp valleys, passing through the alvéoles, a typical feature of the Montagne Limousine. Along the way, you'll come to appreciate the tranquility of the landscape.
On arrival, the picturesque village of Nedde welcomes you with its richly preserved heritage.
