It brings together on the same site, a four-star campsite, an aquatic area, a restaurant and a lake dedicated to aquatic and nautical leisure activities, as well as a "Pavillon bleu" beach. 140 hectares of greenery, between lakes and river, provide the backdrop for a day visit, short or long stay. Five interconnected lakes, with beaches, picnic and barbecue tables, playgrounds, a Maison des Sports... a concentration of leisure activities and services. The large lake is the ideal starting point for exploring the byways and landscapes of the Bresse bocage. Home to the characteristic Bresse farmhouses with their Saracen chimneys, this is also the land of the famous Bresse poultry, as well as Bresse PDO butter and cream. Eglise de Saint-Nizier-le-Bouchoux

Dominant la place du village, l'église Saint-Nizier ne manque pas de charme avec sa galonnière et ses petites ouvertures médiévales. D'origine romane, l'édifice a toutefois été plusieurs fois remanié, avec une dernière restauration dans les années 1990.Nizier, martyr chrétien du IIe siècle, devenu saint, est depuis vénéré à Lyon et sa région. Deux communes de l'Ain portent son nom. A Saint-Nizier le Bouchoux, des documents anciens attestent de la présence d'une église dès le XIe siècle. Au XIIIe siècle, elle est mentionnée comme dépendance de l'abbaye bénédictine de Saint-Pierre de Gigny (Jura) et un prieuré lui est associé. De l'édifice roman (XIIe s.) subsistent notamment les petites ouvertures, remarquables à l'extérieur. La galonnière (auvent) a été datée de 1391-93, suite à une étude dendrochronologique et la charpente est de la même époque. Comme la majorité des clochers de l'Ain, celui-ci a été détruit au cours de la Terreur, en 1794, puis reconstruit dix ans plus tard. Il est couvert de tuiles vernissées de Pontigny. A l'intérieur, les modifications des temps gothiques sont bien visibles, notamment les arcs ogivaux donnant accès aux chapelles latérales nord (à gauche de l'entrée). La première est la chapelle Saint-Jean Baptiste et la deuxième est la chapelle Saint-Georges également appelée ""des seigneurs de Saint-Nizier"". On y trouve un remarquable hagioscope qui permettait autrefois au seigneur de suivre l'office depuis sa chapelle, à laquelle il avait un accès privé depuis l'extérieur (porte murée perceptible dans l'angle). En poursuivant, on trouve la chapelle Saint-Barthélémy qui forme l'un des bras du transept. Idem côté sud, avec la chapelle Saint-Antoine qui est aussi la plus ancienne de toutes. En 1993, au cours des travaux de restauration, on mit au jour un retable sculpté, un monolithe de calcaire encastré dans le mur et représentant la Résurrection : sept personnages ouvragés à la fin du XVe ou au début du XVIe siècle.
