Lons - Circuit du Lanot
Description
Pleasant loop that runs between housing estates, landscaped woods that run along the Ousse and wide avenues.
We would forget that we are in the heart of a city of 13,000 inhabitants.
This easy loop can be practiced by bike with children. Be careful near roads and crossings.

Steps
Departure - Sports plain car park
From the "Plaine des Sports" car park, cross the pedestrian crossing to the left of the bus stops and continue straight on the cycle-pedestrian path.
The track then passes to the other side of the road and continue straight. Ignore the road that goes left and continue on the left sidewalk along the Maternal and Family Center.
The road climbs slightly to arrive in a residential area. Turn right to follow Allée de la Coudraie then Allée de la Palombière.
Then take the path forbidden to traffic which passes between two housing estates.
Follow the road until the STOP sign.
Towards the bridge
Cross avenue Erckmann-Chatrian and continue straight (cross at the pedestrian crossing on the left).
Then turn left to follow rue des Erables. At the end of the street, turn right on the path which bypasses a housing estate on the right and which runs along a pétanque court.
Arrive at the bottom of a dead end, continue straight and take the first right "Allée Bellerive".
Then follow the dead-end path which leads to the crossing of the Lescourre stream on the footbridge.
Path of Deous Grabas
After the footbridge, turn right to follow the path which leads to the footbridge which spans the Ousse.
Then turn right to follow the path along the Ousse.
The trail diverges from the stream; cross Boulevard Blériot on the pedestrian crossing and continue to follow the path in the wooded park (ping-pong table).
Cross the Boulevard des Frères Farman (pedestrian crossing) and continue straight on the path that runs along the banks of the Ousse.
At the end of the path, turn right and cross the Ousse on the footbridge. Continue to follow the path which parallels the Boulevard de l'Europe.
At the roundabout turn right onto avenue Erckmann-Chatrian.
Cross the avenue at the height of the pharmacy on a pedestrian crossing (traffic lights). Continue up the street.
Back to the car park
After the shops, turn left to follow Chemin Déous Grabas, cross Rue des Hêtres, and continue to follow Chemin Déous Grabas.
At the end of the dead-end street take the path to the right. Cross the Allée Bernard Larran and continue straight along the car park of the Center Nautique (access to the swimming pool firefighters).
Then follow the alley in the woods, at the crossroads, turn left to continue following the alley.
Before the footbridge over the Laü, turn right to follow the path that leads back to the "Plaine des Sports" car park.
