Christian Guémy (aka C215) is a major French artist on the street art scene. He works mainly with stencils, with a highly recognisable style. As well as taking to the streets around the world, he exhibits works painted on recycled objects in numerous galleries in France and abroad.
In 2019, C215 has taken over the medieval city. As you follow the route, look out for and discover his portraits of emblematic personalities or those with a link to the city of Laon.
A renowned historic town, Laon is not only famous for its superb monuments and flamboyant stonework, it is also rich in the people who built it, developed it and brought a national destiny with it.
Strengthened by its past and resolutely looking to the future, Laon is at the crossroads of all these times.
‘Concordance des temps’ is an artistic and poetic stroll, highlighted by C215, of the men and women who have left their mark on the history of our city, whose fame has spread far beyond the city walls...
The original tour included two additional works - Adalbéron de Laon and Napoléon - which have disappeared or been damaged over time, so they are no longer included in the tour you are about to follow...
