From the peaceful valleys between Ajain and Saint Laurent, the Creuse winds its way to Glénic, before rushing into the gorges of the 3 lakes.
To discover along the way:
- Viaduct and village of Glénic: at Saint Fiel and Glénic, these structures mark the landscape, bearing witness to the history of the railroad and the working of granite in the region over more than a century.
The village, perched on its rocky promontory, overlooks the Creuse Valley. It is well worth a visit, particularly for its 11th-century fortified church.
- Church of Ajain: Fortified in Ajain, with an original nave in Saint Laurent, the Romanesque churches of the Creuse Valley combine charm and singularity.
- Saint Laurent aerodrome
