Hiking tour from Soultz-sous-Forêts to Betschdorf via Surbourg

Route starting from the GR531 at the back of the Match supermarket. Reach the railway station via the supermarket car park. Continue across the level crossing, continue along rue de Seltz then turn right into rue de l'abbé Fischer and follow the signs for the Way of St James to Surbourg. In the village, pass by the 11th-century collegiate church of Saint-Martin-et-Saint-Arbogast.
On leaving Surbourg, turn left onto the green route. Please note: this route is shared with cyclists. Continue as far as Betschdorf, go through the village and turn left into the ‘vieille rue’. Continue into the heart of the village, at the crossroads near the village Protestant church. Take the opportunity to visit the Pottery Museum and the potters in the village. Return to the crossroads and continue along Rue des Francs, then leave Betschdorf and continue towards Hohwiller. When you reach Hohwiller, cross the village on the rue Principale and continue on the cycle path to Soultz-sous-Forêts railway station.
