La Monte en l'Hère

Take time to warm up before heading almost directly uphill out of Pont d'Ouilly. The profile will then be quite varied, with plateaus, regular ascents/descents and steeper ones? enough to change pace as you adapt to the terrain. Along fields or streams, in undergrowth, you'll enjoy a variety of landscapes.
This long outing will take you from beautiful vantage points to some surprisingly technical sections. Some of the straights are a little monotonous, but give you a chance to catch your breath before the next climb, which is never far away?
