Well-exposed balcony walk with a magnificent view of Mont Blanc! Ideal for families who want to discover the mountain and its panorama.
The trail starts out in the forest on a short but slightly steep slope, then heads south, flat. The view is splendid, as you're facing the Mont-Blanc range. The descent is on a fairly natural path, towards some old chalets.
For those who want to make things even simpler, simply head for the Sions balcony (up to the fork in the path before descending to the place known as Les Boeufs) and then retrace your steps.
From 21/12 to 31/03.
Access subject to weather conditions and outside risk periods. Please contact the Tourist Office beforehand for current access conditions.

Accompanied snowshoe outings:
During these outings, a mountain professional can accompany you and take you safely through the forests and over the ridges. These themed outings are fun and easy, and adapted to the level of participants. They will give you a better understanding of our natural environment. You can satisfy your curiosity by asking your guide questions. You'll see just how different the landscape can look from the heights of Cordon. Possibility of group or private snowshoe outings.
Slightly steep descent on the "Chemin de la Combe" downhill path, immediately after the fork in the road at "Les Boeufs".
1/ Leave the Mouilles parking lot for a 1h15 hike.
2/ Take the path up towards the Peray parking lot.
3/ At the parking lot, take the flat path opposite you, the Chemin des Sions.
4/ Continue straight on until you reach a place called Les Boeufs, where you'll see a path on the left as you go downhill: Chemin de la Combe.
5/ Continue on this path and turn slightly left, onto the Chemin du Chêne. At the end of this path, you'll come to the starting parking lot.
NB: if you wish to shorten this walk, you can take the Chemin des Sions only, and make a return trip when you reach the place known as Les Boeufs (before the descent).
