Description

A circuit starting from Cordon church, on foot (or snowshoes), to discover the village and its hillsides, farms, granaries, bread ovens... A short loop, but a steady one halfway through.

This loop between footpath and road will allow you to discover the emblematic village of Cordon from above. You'll have a splendid view of the Mont-Blanc massif and the village.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

1/ Park at the large parking lot in the village center and walk to the church. It's a 1 hour 15 minute walk!
2/ Take the signposted path up to the right of the church, then head towards Plagne d'en bas and La Plagne.
3/ Take the route de la Plagne southwards, then cross the route des Miaz. Rejoin the path, but do not cross the torrent (south side) at the fork. Take the path back down towards La Scie.
4/ At the saw, continue downhill to Les Darbaillets.
5/ At Les Darbaillets, walk along the sidewalk back to the village center, then return to your original parking lot.
