Steps
Soum de Casteigts
Park at the medical office in the center of the village of Arette. Go towards Calvaire Woods, behind the fronton, and follow signs for "Soum de Casteigts". When you come out of the woods, go in the same direction on the road then the track to the ridges.
Ridges
Go along the ridges following the dirt path. Make a U-turn at the hiking totem to get back to the start of the ridges at the "Casteigts" landmark.
Return
Go along the fence and round the corner on the right. Go past the next bend with two fantastic ash trees and a gate. Leave the path and go up the rising track. Stay on the trail that turns into a footpath and goes down to another track. Go back on the road to return to the village.
