Description

This short walk offers an incredible panorama of the Pyrenees. Ideal for a late afternoon stroll, the light in the wood shines through the foliage and floods the facade of the castle. The walk is also rocked by the rustling of the leaves, the toc-toc of the green woodpecker and the song of the swift thumb.

Etape 1

The start sign is opposite the Chai of Arricau-Bordes. From the car park, walk up the road towards the Chai. Continue along the edge of the road and take the first path on the right. A magnificent view of the Pyrenees awaits you! The track descends and as it bends sharply to the left, follow a path to the right. It winds gently through the forest and joins a track.

Turn right and walk up this alley. When you reach the road, turn right. The castle and its vineyard are at their best. Continue until you reach the entrance to the château.
