Hiking tour from Soultz-sous-Forêts to the Treetop Walk Alsace

Starting from Soultz-sous-Forêts station, follow the GR531 towards the Treetop Walk Alsace and the walking path of Compostelle on the way back to Soultz-sous-Forêts. A varied route through villages, valleys in the foothills of the Northern Vosges and forest. In high season, don't miss a visit to the Treetop Walk Alsace, with its panoramic views over the whole of Alsace Verte ! From the station, head for the match supermarket for the first stage of the tour and the official start of the GR531. An interactive terminal and a service area for motor caravans are located at the start of the GR531 at the back of the supermarket car park. Follow the blue rectangle of the GR531 and pass through the villages of Retschwiller, Memmelshoffen and Drachenbronn via the Auberge des Sept Fontaines to reach the Chemin des Cimes Alsace car park. You can visit the Chemin des Cimes Alsace and the Forêt d'Aventure Alsace adventure park. For the return journey, take the yellow-marked trail and pass through the village of Birlenbach. After leaving Birlenbach, head east following the yellow diamond, then at the next crossroads, turn right and head towards Soultz-sous-Forêts following the green horse, which corresponds to the Way of St James.
