Circuit des étangs lorrains

The tour starts in Hoste, skirting ponds that are remnants of the Maginot Aquatic Line. The village features a pendulum well, Lorraine-style houses and the Maison Güth. The route continues along forest and country roads to Ippling, where you reach the Roman road offering panoramic views of the Vosges. After passing through Sarreguemines, you'll follow the river Sarre to discover its earthenware heritage, before rejoining the old Sarreguemines-Nancy railroad line. Following the yellow Vélo vis-à-vis signs, the tour passes through Neufgrange, Hambach and arrives in Puttelange-aux-Lacs via the Welshof pond and its floating footbridge. The route continues to Diefenbach-Lès-Puttelange, then through the forest to Barst, where a pause allows you to admire the Vosges foothills. Passing through the Saillant de Barst, you reach Cappel, where you discover the Chapelle Bonne Fontaine, before concluding the tour by returning to Hoste.
