Description
This route, commonly known as Les Colombières tour, is accessible to all if you take the road from Boudin back to Arêches. The difficulty will be in the forest during the descent on trail between Les Mais and Les Cruets.
You will leave Arêches towards Saint Guérin on a regular slope and then more difficult at Le Mappaz. The track of Les Colombières, 4 km, is very nice and offers a beautiful panorama on Arêches, all through beautiful alpages still operated by farmers and whose cottages are very well maintained. You will see the pretty village of Boudin, stepped on a steep slope from the top before taking the paved road for a short distance. The trail descent is more technical and requires a little experience.

Departure : Place du Capitaine Bulle
1/ Take the road from St Guérin to Le Mappaz.
2/ 300m after the Mappaz, take the left track in earth of Colombières.
3/ Drive for 3.1km on this track that passes under the Col du Pré and joins the road of the Col du Pré.
4/ take the Col du Pré road to climb on 450m above the sharp turn.
5/ Take the path to the left towards "les Mais" which enters into the forest and follow the signs until "la Plate" then "les Croets".
6/ join the road to Beaufort to reach Arêches.
