Around Lazer

This tour will take you through the rural area of Lazer and the surrounding peaks. Since the route follows mainly roads and trails and has relatively little elevation gain, it is suitable for the whole family.


At the town hall, take the road to the right of it and head up toward the village church. Pass the church and continue to the left.
At the first bend, after the church, go down into the field below, then follow the path that runs alongside the Barbiers stream. Continue along the stream until you reach the road.
Take this road to the right. It quickly turns into a dirt track that continues for about 3 km until you reach a bridge with an intersection.
At the bridge, turn left and continue straight ahead to the hamlet of Les Vollaires.
In the hamlet, cross the bridge on the right and continue straight ahead toward Arzeliers.
Just before reaching Arzeliers, at Les Roussets, turn left and continue straight on the dirt road for about 1.6 km until you reach a fork in the road.
At the fork, turn right and join the D942.
At the D942, turn left and follow the road back to the town hall to complete the route.
