Description

Discover the mining past of the Communauté d’Agglomération de Forbach, passing through Forbach, Petite-Rosselle, and Schoeneck, via two quarries, the Carrière Simon and the Carrière Centrale, remnants of coal mining activity. Enjoy the Carrière Simon in Schoeneck, with its canyon-like appearance and memorable view of the forming lake. Then head to the Parc Explor Wendel in Petite-Rosselle, a museum site, via the Carrière Centrale and the Terril Wendel, well-known to mountain bikers for its breathtaking panorama.
