Mountain gîte-refuge located at 1690 m altitude, in the Vallon d'Ambin in Haute Maurienne. Accessible by road, it sleeps 40. Self-catering or half-board, enjoy the peaceful, rejuvenating setting.Gîte-refuge offering 40 berths in rooms and dormitories of varying capacities and amenities. The sleeping areas are divided as follows: - Two double rooms with bedding and private bathroom facilities for greater comfort. - A 6-berth room with private bathroom facilities for families or groups of friends. - A 4-bed family room with shared washbasin and bathroom facilities - Three dormitories sleeping 8 to 10 with shared bathroom facilities A natural camping area is located 100 m from the refuge, giving access to the sanitary facilities and the "hors sac" room, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen with crockery, fridge, cooking utensils, pots and pans and dining tables. The refuge has two reading rooms and a sunny terrace with tables and benches. Parking is available 200m away. This is a shared space, located in the middle of the mountains, where half-boarders have dinner together and enjoy a natural, peaceful setting. A place to discover and recharge your batteries. We welcome groups, as well as visitors, for a night or a short stay, on a self-catering or half-board basis. Dinners are mainly vegetarian (meat dishes can be booked for a supplement of €2 per person). The refuge is available all year round on reservation and is open all day, non-stop, from . From July 1 to August 31, 2025, a food and beverage service is available during the day, from midday. This service is by reservation only in June and September. The place invites you to disconnect: no telephone network, no wifi. Cheques and cash are accepted on site.
