Running trail: Chanduraz from Chavornay

The Domaine de La Lavanche also has a spring water pool where you can cool off after a hike or mountain bike ride on the marked trails through the woods. Trail runners can set off from the lodgings to climb the Grand Colombier, which rises more than 1,000 metres. Exceptional panoramic view of the Bugey, the Chartreuse massif and the Lavours nature reserve. For cyclists, there are cycling days: the Grand Colombier hairpin bend road is reserved for bicycles. Located half an hour from the slopes of the Plans d'Hotonnes resort and the wide open spaces of the Plateau de Retord, close to the Grande Traversée du Jura, the Ain à Cheval, the Via Rhôna in Culoz (9 km), and river cruises on the Haut Rhône canal and Lake Bourget. For your family events, birthdays, family reunions, weekends with friends, all the gîtes can be hired privately, with a total capacity of 45 beds: ‘Arvières’, ‘Le Jura’, ‘Le Colombier’, ‘Le Séran’, ‘Le Dortoir’, as well as a convivial room for 30 people equipped with a fitted kitchen, terrace, pergola and barbecue.
